The fork has an embossed scroll design on the top half of handle and across fork area at base of stem. Handle is decorated with a fancy engraved 3-letter monogram "V E L". Marked with Mechanics trademark stamp and "Sterling. The Mechanics Silver Company made sterling silver flatware for the Watson Silver Company often using Watson patterns. Measures 9" long and 2 3/4" wide (at end of design on fork end). Weighs 95 grams. This stunning fork is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
