This is @300 years from around 1700-1800, rare as it still has Blue enamel on and is preserved in very fine condition with a deep dark patina and very high relief detailing the instruments of Christs passion, these crosses are known as Soldiers Crosses, a thicker and more sturdier version of the orthodox Calvary Crosses and were worn by Soldiers and found all over Eastern Europe today on battlefields. Made from bronze, quite a large example too Dimension: 38mmx20mm ( 1 1/2 inches tall) this could be still worn to make a unique piece of jewellery. The bale is complete at the top and very solid. A lovely example.
