Please check the model number of your PTC and make sure the beginning of the model number matches the model number given in the title. While we can guarantee that these PTC’s are compatible with the listed compressors, we cannot guarantee that they will match the fridge model numbers, as sometimes a fridge with the same model number may have several different models of compressors.

We can get our hands on almost any second hand fridge or freezer part. If you want something, get in touch with the brand and model of the fridge or freezer as well as that of the part where applicable, and we can give you a quote and an estimate of how long it will take us to get it.
All Australian sales have flat rate standard postage of $10 regardless of how many items you buy.
Where Express postage is selected an additional $5 per item applies.
All items are shipped via Australia Post airmail, in regards to international sales, this is the fastest and most cost effective way for us to get the item to you. SeaMail is usually only a couple of dollars cheaper and takes months longer.
Fridgebay take all responsibility for lost items.
If you need the item quickly select Express Post (only available in Australia).
In respect of International sales, while we have made every endeavour to ensure that the correct shipping applies, we may request further funds to mail the item, where it weights more than 500 grams, and we have mistakenly assumed that it weighs less. You may choose a refund in this case.
If you are an international buyer interested in buying a bulk quantity of parts, get in touch for a shipping quote. Otherwise the following rates apply.
New Zealand: $20 first item, $10 for each additional item.
UK: $30 first item, $20 for each additional item.
USA: $25 first item, $15 for each additional item.
International buyers should also ensure that the part will be suitable for use at their voltage and Hz. Parts are sourced in Australia, where we have a mains voltage of 240V and 50Hz. If the part is not listed as your voltage/hertz, proceed with care.
Australian sales: All parts come with a 12 month warranty from date of purchase. Warranty only covers part. We will provide you with a replacement part, where we will pay for postage and if we cannot, a refund including postage.
International sales: All parts come with a 12 month warranty from date of purchase. Warranty only covers part. We will provide you with a replacement part, where you pay for postage of the replacement, and if we cannot, a refund not including postage.
If you make a mistake in your order, we are happy to exchange your product provided you pay to return the part to us, and pay us $10 postage, or the reasonable cost of postage, whichever is higher to send the exchange item.
Fridgebay is a network of refrigerant recovery professionals who recover refrigerant from end of life fridges freezers and air conditioners for the waste industry. We amortise the cost of doing this by refurbishing newer fridges and freezers, creating carbon certificates on older units where possible, and stripping other suitable units for parts.
It is our long term goal to offer free refrigerant recovery to the waste industry through this process. The profit we make on every part is recycled back into adding more parts, and determining what fridges and freezers they fit into. The more parts and fridges we can sell, the more sites we can recover refrigerant from, and the more carbon emissions we can prevent.
If you buy with us, you are supporting the refrigerant recovery industry and directly contributing to a reduction in greenhouse gases. How? Refrigerant is often a CFC, which is largely responsible for the hole in the ozone layer, and nearly always has a high global warming potential. For example R12, a refrigerant almost universally used in pre 1996 fridges and freezers (which account for 50%-70% of units at waste sites), is a CFC. If that wasn’t bad enough, one kilogram of R12 has the same effect on global warming as 11 tonnes of carbon dioxide, about the same carbon footprint as the average Victorian household for around 7 years. Pre 1996 fridges and freezers represent around 60% of fridges and freezers in the waste stream.
While it is the law that refrigerant needs to be recovered from end of life equipment, the waste industry has very little incentive to pay for it, as the Australian Refrigeration Council, and the Department of Environment, rarely if ever actually issue fines to non compliant organisations (They tried to once, and lost in Court). Currently waste transfer stations operated by local governments are about the only organisations that have refrigerant recovered before scrapping, and it would be fair to say that only about 20-30% of them do. For example, there are only 2-3 Councils in Tasmania that have refrigerant recovered before devices are scrapped (somewhat ironically given where the hole in the ozone layer is situated).
In an era of carbon taxes, Direct action, and climate change, we think it is ridiculous that this enormous source of carbon emissions is basically ignored by all levels of government. Our goal is to prevent these emissions, by subsidising the cost of refrigerant recovery to the waste industry.
