This unique item comes from a series of notecards published in the U.K., and illustrated by the noted artist Edwin Megargee . Edwin Megargee is best known for his portraits of pure bred dogs. He created animal portraits which truly reflected how the animal looked, and in that sense was more of an illustrator that many of his fellow artists. In the tradition of the pure-bred dog portrait, Megargee’s dogs are typically posed to show off how they conform to the standard for the breed. This "New" illustration is printed on heavy card stock, measures approximately 2.5" x 3" , and has been Custom Matted in a black "acid free" mat, ready for your 5" x 7" frame. It would look lovely placed on your desk or bookcase and is an excellent way to showcase your favorite breed. Your artwork is shipped flat between sturdy cardboard and comes protected against moisture with a plastic sleeve. It's then carefully packaged to prevent bending or damage during transit.
