Large Patriarchal cross, Russian Bronze-cross with two-color enamel, 19th c.

These “Great Patriarchal Crucifixion” icons were, as one might suspect, the product of Old Believer workshops, and were produced largely in the Moscow area in the 18th and 19th centuries, but of course in fewer numbers than the more common smaller Crucifixion metal icons. Very good condition, traces of enameling and gold gilding. Please see all the images. No breaks in bronze.
