This high-quality machinist MOORE & WRIGHT Model No. 965 precision micrometer may have never been used judged by its present condition. No evidence of use has been noted. This older ratchet type machinist external micrometer for 0-25mm/0-1in measurements to within .0001 increments together with its adjustment wrench both fit into the attractive custom Moore & Wright (M&W) durable plastic storage holder/case.

Finished in black smooth enamel, decimal equivalents (1/8s and 1/32s) are engraved on the thimble. Fitted with a ratchet and a locknut, this Moore & Wright (M&W) Micrometer comes with its adjustment wrench that are all packaged together into the sturdy custom blue M&W plastic storage holder/case. All of its parts, anvil, spindle, locking lever, locknut, sleeve, reading line, barrel, ratchet, and locknut, and adjusting key all in excellent working order making this micrometer easy to use. 

In addition, this M&W Micrometer comes with a one-page copy of documentation that would have been part of the original packaging to include: THE CARE AND ADJUSTMENT OF MOORE & WRIGHT MICROMETERS.
