Notice that my starting bids are phenomenally low even on rare items. I will do this as often as I can so that everybody can get in on the bidding, regardless of rich or poor. Thank you to all my regular bidders who made last year's fall and Christmas push another great one. I'll reward you all the best way that I can- with unique, vintage items at low, low starting prices all year.
Here we go with a few more vintage and collectable items, mostly from that large, old estate. As most of you know by now, they were all obtained by an old family of collectors from New Jersey who had train, toy, stamp, cap gun, coin collecting, letter writing to celebrities for autographs, hoarding, and MOST other forms of collecting as their hobby since the mid 1930's on. I'll try posting as many as I can during the summer, but will really go to town in the fall and winter. All are guaranteed as pictured or described to the best of my ability; if you feel they were not, you have a week to return it after notifying me first. We usually get compliments that our items were better than described, and that they were packaged much better than people had hoped.
Remember folks that many of these items are rare and hard to find, this may be your last chance to obtain some of these items, don't hesitate. Have fun everyone, and happy bidding! The prices are right!

   UP FOR AUCTION IS:

Punch, No. 5007 Coronation Number, April 28, 1937 Magazine. Punch Office, 10 Bouverie Street, London, EC4.

Here’s some history for you: Punch, the magazine of humour and satire, ran from 1841 until its closure in 2002. A very British institution with an international reputation for its witty and irreverent take on the world, it published the work of some of the greatest comic writers (Thackeray, P G Wodehouse and P J O’Rourke among others) and gave us the cartoon as we know it today. Its political cartoons swayed governments while its social cartoons captured life in the 19th and 20th centuries. The world’s finest cartoonists appeared in Punch: such great names as Tenniel, E H Shepard, Fougasse, and Pont.

Slight yellowing of pages, half of the magazine is made up of glossy pages. Covers show slight wear. Measures 8-3/4” by 11-1/4”.

Also included in this auction is: some glossy newspaper clippings and sections. The Boston Sunday Globe, February 2, 1936 and The New York Times- February 2, 1936. Both have movie star pictures as well as British royalty. 10 pages total. Measures approx. 22” by 16”. Pages are sepia toned.

Happy bidding!
