Horseshoe Barn Door Hangers Rollers Hardwar. Pair Extremely RARE Cockshutt J.G.C. Horseshoe Barn Door Hangers Rollers Hardware J.G.C. (James G. Cockshutt) made by the Cockshutt Plow Company, was known for making a variety of farm implements esp. tractor seats but I can honestly say, I've never seen one other pair of J.G.C. Horseshoe hangers for sale. They have the J.G.C. logo on top of the cast iron hinges and a No. 1 embossed which are approx. 12" tall x 10.5" wide. Both weigh approx. 9.5 pounds. They are in working condition and the rollers turn freely with no breaks or cracks. They would make an awesome addition to anyone's vintage sliding door or vintage farm collection. Founded as the Brantford Plow Works by James G. Cockshutt in 1877, the name was changed to the Cockshutt Plow Company when it was incorporated in 1882. After James died shortly thereafter, his brother William Foster Cockshutt took over as president. He remained until 1888, when another brother, Frank Cockshutt, became president of the company. In 1910, Henry Cockshutt, the youngest of the brothers, took over the leadership of the company. Under his direction, the company was able to obtain financing for acquisitions and expansion. http://ag-museum.mb.ca/…/horse-d…/cockshutt-jgc-riding-plow/ Please check out my other items I have listed in my EBay store.
