"JOHN J. HARRIGAN" is extremely professionally mounted oversome else's name on the plaque, which continues "MAGISTRATE COURT No5" A quick google search shows John J. Harrigan as a member of the Magistrates' Court of Philadelphia and the address of 23 North Juniper Street in the year 1916. The back has all four original mounting screws coming out, three of which have the original wooden attachment allowing for the outing in brick or stone. The front has three of the four original faux covers, which really are only for show. The brass itself is probably 1/4" thick, rolled and mounted on the heavy wooden back. SUPER ITEM.
