Overview:x Mythological figures, male and female Buddhist kneeling Namaste Angels, also referred to as Teppanom Deities who are a temple protector and guardian, often represented as a pair, a brother and sister, kneeling on both knees with their hands in the "Anjali" position, the attitude of praying or offering respect . The Teppanom first came to Earth when Buddha reached enlightenment, and they became Buddha's protector, than guardian of religious temples and artifacts. These traditional figure appears throughout Burma, Laos, and Thai culture and Buddhist temples, as attendants with both their hands in an iconography praying position or gesture. Image Details:x Mythological attendants dressed in royal attire, depicted kneeling with both feet firmly positioned beneath their torso, and with both hands raised in the attitude of respect. Typical of Rattanakosin style their garments cover both shoulders and are heavily embroidered in a jeweled rosette pattern, winged flanges at the shoulders, and jeweled necklaces, armlets and bracelets complete their costume. Their headdress features a heavily adorned inter-connected diadem crown, surmounted by a domed ushnisha, which rises to a tall bulbuous ornament finial.
