This listing is for two matching Chinese hand embroidered silk panels. I believe they came off of a late 19th century to very early 20th century robe. So possibly from the Qing dynasty or a bit after if I'm correct.
They are beautifully decorated with hand sewn embroidery. A lovely motif of flowers, butterflies and grasshoppers.
Condition: Very good, there is one spot next to one of the grasshoppers heads. There are also some loose threads around the exterior where they were previously stitched down. I see no other stains or flaws.
Measurements: 20.5 x 3.2 inches each
I am listing a few other vintage and antique textiles today including an incredible 1930's brocade Qipao.
