Vintage original handmade knife made by Donald Moore in Minneapolis in the early 1940s. He was a casket maker in the Twin Cities who made many different style knives in the evening and gave them a number of Servicemen from the area. That is how this soldier came by this one. Of course he supplied his own scabbard he picked up somewhere. This guy was in the Army and I do have his name etc. Stamp on the aluminum handle is in a circle MOORE MPLS. Stamp is deep and clear. Knife is 12-1/2 inches with a blade length of 8-1/4 inches. Blade is full and nice, no scratches. It is fairly stiff but has a small amount of flex. The aluminum handle is near perfect. Nice and tight, very solid. The leather frog holds a metal spring loaded scabbard that fits the knife perfectly. Sheath is in good used condition. I might add the Moore knives are quite hard to find. Look the photos over good and ask any questions.  Buyer to pay shipping of 6.95, Out of the U.S. about 14.00, always ask before paying and thanks for looking.
