Both original box and certificate of authenticity include a hand signature by Marc Davis.  

"Marc Davis, a legend in Disney's world of animated films and theme park attractions, celebrates 60 years with the Walt Disney Company.  He began his Disney career in December 1935 when he joined Walt Disney's team of animators.  As one of Disney's 'Nine Old Men', he helped create the body of animated film classics that are synonymous with the Disney name.  Among his personal favorites are Tinkerbelle from Peter Pan (1953), Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty (1959) and Cruella DeVil from 101 Dalmations (1961)."  This legend passed away in 2000 at 86 years old.
