Salome Dance of the Seven Veils Film Cells Lot Rita Hayworth, Charles Laughton +

Lot of twenty-two (22) film cels, or cells from the 1953 release of Salome: The Dance of the Seven Veils directed by William Dieterle. Historical drama loosely based on events in the Roman Empire during the 1st century AD. The images in this lot are from the sequence where Princess Salome does her famous dance before King Herod. There's 16 different shots of Hollywood bombshell Rita Hayworth dancing plus close-ups. The others show Charles Laughton as King Herod, Judith Anderson as Queen Herodias and Arnold Moss portraying Micha the queen's advisor. As an added bonus there's even a couple from the dance's grim conclusion with the head of John the Baptist on a platter and Salome/Hayworth recoiling in horror. All have been individually selected for clarity. They are suitable for having enlarged prints made or mounting in half-frame slide mounts and projecting or mounting in keychain slide viewers. The cels are in excellent condition with a slight reddish shifting from age. (This is easily corrected in photo labs. They also make exquisite b&w's.)
