This is a hard to find Sheaffer Targa cobalt blue ronce laque ballpoint pen, made in the USA. It is in excellent condition, looks unused, but probably needs a refill. This beautiful pen has 23k gold plated trim. The depth and quality of this finish is a result of being individually hand lacquered 14 times and polished, also by hand, to deep, luminous glow. Years of production: 1989 to 1996.  The Sheaffer factory in the US is closed and you will never see this kind of quality workmanship again.  The Targa line is no longer made.  This pen is a great memento of one of the largest and most popular pen manufacturers in the world.
