Up for auction is a pair of 2 Antique Barn Door Iron Hinges 12.5” long x 7.5" wide. I acquired these back in 2002 from a huge barn in Prince George's County MD that was scheduled to be demolished to make way for a new housing development. I procured several of the doors and these are some of the leftovers I can now part with. The word was that the barn was built around the turn of the 20th century (approx 1905) and it certainly looked like it. These have some surface rust but they're still very sturdy, flexible and serviceable if desired. Not seized up or anything. At that time the paint on the barn was very weathered, so I would have to assume that this paint is old and likely leaded. Although identical, only one of the hinges has a makers mark on it, although I can't make out what it says. Please ask any questions and thanks for looking.
