The Grand Antique Mall, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, presents an antique Rookwood Pottery 1-Handle Ewer or Vase Signed by Constance Amelia Baker (C.A.B.), artist at Rookwood from 1892-1904 . Dated 1900. The ewer is a superb example of Rookwood’s Standard Glaze. A branch of orange flowers is set against green, yellow, brown and orange hues. Its shape number, 611, was originally cast by William Watts Taylor. Also imprinted is the size letter, D. DIMENSIONS: 9”H x 6”W. Top diameter including handle & spout=5.50”. Opposite diameter=3.5”. Base diameter=2.75”. WT= 1.50 lbs. CONDITION: Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines, missing pieces or repairs. Light age-related crazing. ABOUT THE COMPANY: Cincinnati’s Rookwood Pottery opened its doors in 1880 and continues to be the most famous pottery created in America.
