1. This adapter contains four 1/2"-20 threaded holes to mount the transmission case to the adapter. The bolt sizes on a T-5 transmission case are not consistant. In order for your T-5 to work with this adapter, you may be required to enlarge the four bolt holes in the case of your transmission so that they accept 1/2"-20 bolts.
2. A return spring tab (normally found on an original Flathead transmission) is not included.

Transmission application required is a 1982-1991 Chevy S10/GMC S15 2WD utilizing bolt pattern as follows:

• 8-1/4" center-to center top bolt holes
• 9-1/8" center-to-center bottom bolt holes
• 4-7/8" center-to-center bottom bolt to top bolt, either side

Adapt GM/Chevy T-5 transmission to 1932-48 Ford or 1939-50 Mercury engines. Allows use of your early Ford clutch release shaft and fork.

This Kit contains a Ford style throwout bearing that requires a Ford long style pressure plate (three finger). Such as Part #'s 91015651, 91015657, or 91015635.

Summary: you need to let people know that they have to get a falthead cluch plate and they have to cut the back counter waites off of the pressure plate I had to take my tran's out 2 times to fix. that problems some typed out instruction would be nice.
