Vintage Copeland Spode "Romney" Gadroon Shape Dinne rware. Each piece is priced individually. Pattern Description : Earthenware, Scalloped, Gadroon, Multicolor Floral Center & Rim, No Trim. Made in England. This pattern is discontinued; it was active from 1952 until 1971. Made in England. Maker's Marks: This set of dinnerware all have a printed brown mark of "COPELAND-SPODE-GREAT BRITAIN-ROMNEY". Most pieces also have impressed marks. One impressed mark has "Copeland-Spode-Imperial" and another with date codes indicating manufacture prior to 1963. Finally, there are some hand printed marks in red and green, indicating the specific pattern and/or piece number. See photos. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Crazing may be present, typical of English Ironstone. Light shelf wear to the soles exists, but I do not see any utensil marks or other wear to the fronts of the dishes. See photos.
