A solid wood, hand carved, Storyboard depicting a scene with native islander people and several of the huge carved Yap Stone Money (known as Rai stones). Origin: Palau, Micronesia, in the Polynesian, Pacific region. Plaque is carved from local tropical wood. Note the outer border depicts a stylized fish design. Well executed with good artistic merit. Good used condition with some small stress fractures from drying over time, but no major damage (take note of close-up image of storyboard's fish head at right end). Ready for wall mounting.
