For your consideration is an excellent LARGE 30" VINTAGE BARKER ELLIS SILVER PLATED TEA SERVING TRAY. This truly is top quality silver plate and this tray is in remarkable condition. The tray is beautiful and very large, measuring and impressive 30"(76.2cm) from handle to handle, 24"(61cm) long and 18"(46cm) outside rim dimensions; lots of space for your service and then some. It is also heavy, weighing over 12lbs(5.67kgs)! Beautiful, ornate floral chasing framing a large blank central cartouche with heavy gadrooned border. The tray is supported with four large button feet The underside carries clear marks including: Menorah (Barker Ellis maker mark from 1912) Number 31 (poorly struck) MADE IN ENGLAND Condition overall is quite remarkable. This serving tray has been extremely well looked after - it is incredibly clean with no scratches or blush so be sure not to confuse reflections for flaws. Other photos upon request. The last photo shows a very fine quality matching Barker Ellis tea and coffee service that is being sold separately - the service is for reference only and is not included in this sale.  This is some of the very best in silver plate and from a renown maker. - makes for an excellent gift!
