Description  A superb large rare   early-dated  English  antique 18th Century  George II  solid sterling silver sauce/gravy boat by the silversmith Fuller White (1744-1758), in  lovely antique condition  and with a full set of  English silver hallmarks for London 1747. Excellent quality genuine 271 year old  sterling silver example, definitely  not  a modern re-production , wonderful early shape with a decorative high scrolled handle, a nice fluted border edge rim and it rests on 3 silver legs with attractive pad feet. Good heavy   silver weight, approx.  173 grams. Has an ornately engraved cartouche with no added personal monograms. Ready to be used.

Measurements Great size, measures approx. 6.25 inches (159mm) x 3.3 inches (84mm) and stands 3.75 inches (95mm) in height.

Date  English antique 18th Century Georgian solid sterling silver  with a full set of English silver hallmarks for London 1747  (date letter "m"). No duty stamp as it  pre-dates   the silver duty act of 1784. Hallmarks are all readable marks.

Maker Silversmiths initials "- W" for the London silversmith Fuller White - 1744-1758).

Condition Lovely antique condition , with no splits or cracks, definitely  no  wear holes and no nasty knocks or dents. Possible little repair on one leg, really nothing much at all and a fine early  271 year old   example. The 3 silver legs are all tight and secure and it has an excellent heavy silver weight.  Ready to be used and is direct from a private estate.
