Pair of Mid Century 1960s MCM White OPAQUE Glass PENDANT hanging Cylinder LIGHTS Here is a very cool looking pair of 1960s hallway or bedroom hanging pendant lights. These look to be complete and come with a bronze painted color ceiling canopy that was with them but not currently attached, 6 foot or so of chain on each light, no plugs on wiring as these were meant to be hard-wired into a ceiling location and simply swagged off that point or just hung straight down if your ceilings permit - very flexible really to suit all of your installation needs. The dark dense opaque white milk glass globes are ribbed the full vertical length. This pair of swag lights look all original to me except for the brass globe retaining screws which were recently replaced with appropriate thumbscrew bolts. Not sure of the actual age or manufacturer but I'd say 1950s or early 60s for sure back when these lamps were very popular. Measures about 14-1/2 inches overall tip to tip length, about 4-1/2 inches in diameter around the widest point.  The actual glass portion of the shade is about 9 inches in length. Casts a nice glow at night for a spectacular mood setting pendant light - check it out !!! Its in absolutely great condition and in complete working order. Has the original sockets that look to be in fine usable condition and I had no hesitation in testing it out. The low wattage bulbs used during testing are not included but are a standard bulb base size. No damage at all, a very clean looking pair of swag lamps. Obviously, this lamp is not an antique, however, they are still desirable today as decorator/designer pieces and are highly sought after by the many people that follow the trends of the 60’s and 70’s.
