DESCRIPTION

Beautiful hand made brass tea kettle.  Brass swing handle.  Goose neck spout with lid.  Possible shipboard item, for serving the crew and officers in the galley.  Peculiar riveted dovetail construction on the bottom, possibly very early repairs.

CONDITION

Overall very good.  Some dents and oxidation, commensurate with age and use.  Rolled rim on the body with one small corroded section (all visible in the images).  Nice old untouched brass patina.  A FINE AND UNUSUAL LARGE SCALE TEA KETTLE.
