Technique Embossed Majolica Date 1890s Size 6" x 6" Maker Mintons. A stunning floral Embossed Majolica tile which has filled the tile well Its a repeating pattern and well defined design the olive brown against a cream background and a pure white centre with a rococo style outline. Its in very good conditiin with just a couple of nibbles in the glaze on the left edge and a small amount of rubbing on the bottom edge and a tiny amount on the top left edge. These have been part of my collection for many years they did have 10mm of old plaster and adhesive on the back which has now been taken off and has left some in the recesses of the pattern. It does now sit flat to the surface. Please check the photos carefully as this forms part of the description. I take great care when packing all my tiles to ensure a safe delivery.
