Vintage 60s Black Leather Fringed Motorcycle Biker Chaps w/Zipper Sides Harley
Vintage black leather fringed motorcycle chaps with zipper sides. If these pants could talk!
These are made of a sturdy black leather with a small buckle in the front and a larger buckle across the back. There is black leather fringe down the outside of each leg and these are slightly flared at the bottom.
The chaps open up either side with a sturdy metal zipper along the inner edge of the fringe.
I believe these are handmade, probably by a leather maker. There is no label.
These have a lot of wear, but I think that only makes them better. There is serious overall wear and fading, especially on the bottom fronts, and up either side of the back. There is a large brownish leather patch on the center back of the right leg, and part of the leather has come off its leather backing on the top right side (and you can see the original black color of the leather beneath). A part of some leather has come apart from its leather backing on the bottom right of the leg as well (trying to figure out why there's so much wear on the back of the right leg!). The straps on either side of the buckle on the front are pretty worn out and one side has been repaired with some stitching. The zippers are also missing their pulls but they are still functional.
I believe these are from the 60s and though they are not an official Harley Davidson item, they definitely that the look.
