In the spotlight for your consideration is this antique Art Nouveau Murano glass grape cluster bulb cover/lamp shade! Made in Italy, the piece is often confused with Czech glass. How lovely the glow when lit up from a bulb within? The individual grapes are wired onto a soldered metal frame. They are an olive green in color, and could use a detail cleaning. The cluster weighs 1 pound, 8.5 ounces and measures 6 1/2 inches long. The diameter of the top ring is roughly 2 1/4” wide. I do not believe that there are any grapes missing, and there are no broken pieces. However, the topmost ring of the metal frame’s soldered joints have come apart, so the shade is left in two separate pieces, as shown in two of my pictures. This is a hard to find lamp component with definite old world charm!
