Wow, how FABULOUS ~ this amazing textile is a vintage French work apron dating from c1900 - this has some really beautiful construction!! This tie criss-crosses in the back, and there is a sweet little "GE" monogram as well! This is made from a wonderful blue chambray cotton. This textile would have been worn over clothing on occasions such as market day, etc. to protect the clothing. You could use this as an apron again, or it could be displayed for that perfect touch to your modern farmhouse kitchen! ~*~ ( apron 29KL)
MEASUREMENTS : This gorgeous antique apron measures approximately 32 inches long from the top ( not including the neck strap) . The waist is approximately 21 inches (the ties extend from the sides)
CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition for collectors. There are mends and when held to the light one can see tiny pin holes also. Overall this textile is in lovely condition... a wonderful find! ~*~
