VINTAGE GORHAM STERLING SILVER WISHBONE SHAPED HINGED SUGAR TONGS . Here is a unique vintage sterling silver sugar tongs - shaped like a wishbone and measuring 3 1/2" and 1 3/4" wide across the bottom. Made by GORHAM with a hallmark on the inside of one side (see photo). The tongs work via a hinge at the top of the wishbone - there's a bit of looseness there but still a lot of tension and it works perfectly well. The silver has some age-related minor scuffing and scratching but no serious damage; it could use some shining, but I know some people are very sensitive to chemicals so I didn't try to clean it at all. Weight is 11.3 grams. Comes from a smoke- and pet-free home. Email with any questions. Thanks!
