The Attic -  That special place to put  strange, old, unused things that are too cool to throw away.

Antique Handwoven Pastel Throw Shawl - 56 in. wide X 57 in. long plus 2 in. fringe. This is a beautiful, antique wrap from the British Ilse. The tight, finely woven yarn creates a subtle striped pattern of brown, tan and yellow with light blue accents. It was well cared for and is clean. There is one small 3/16 in. tear, which could be darned, 15 inches from one end. The fringe is good except for a few points where the fringe most likely caught on something and so looks a bit ragged and shorter, one corner is missing fringe. This is a beautiful piece of woven goods that needs a little attention.
