Seller: ohm_music (1,900) 97.1%, Location: Elmhurst, Illinois, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 112603613988 Perhaps you looked at this and said that is bad Ass. Excellent eye my friend because it is. Assembled in the late 70's to fulfill a particular tone need in a studio on the south side of Chicago, it now has the perfect amount of real play wear while maintaining top notch play performance. Anchored by a vintage Leo Quan Badass II bridge and driven by a set of active bartonili pickups, this produces beautiful clean clear and warm tones. Built to look and feel like a 68-69, this was spec built from a capped maple neck from warmoth and what looks like a Japanese made body. Plate seems to be fender, serial number neck plate matches the year of the logo. The bass is quite hefty as everything in the late 70's seemed to be. It's probably better served as a studio bass or if you play a couple basses during shows this would work. It may get you tired in hour+ long sets but hey knock yourself out if you're feeling strong. Includes the vintage style hard case. Same cost as a Mexican made run of the mill bass without a hard case. Which would you rather have, a soulless bass that anyone can buy or a studio proven, song driving, older than you funk machine? Body Type: Solid, Dexterity: Right-Handed, String Configuration: 4 String
