This electronic learning kit is designed for youngsters , amplifier  lovers, students and hobbyists to learn fundamental concepts and practice skills such as 

component identification, soldering, and testing. Before diving into programmable electronics such as Arduinos, this circuit is highly 

recommended for anybody interested in electronics.

You'll need a 12VDC battery or power supply. This package not included the power supply. The presence of an adult is required at all times.

STEPS:

1. Solder the components  to the PCB Board.

2. Connect the J points by wire.

3. After soldering the components to the PCB board, connect the 12V DC power supply. 

4. Remember to input power by DC12V power source. Circuit not include AC to DC convert rectifier section.

5. Connect the mic input and Speakers or line output for output.

6. This circuit not contain tone controller.

7. Use an amplifier enclosure or casing for beautiful finish.

2SC1740 Transistor Explained / Description:

2SC1740 or C1740 is an NPN BJT transistor available in TO-92 and TO-92S or E-Line package. TO-92S or E-Line package is a smaller package than TO-92. The transistor is designed for general purpose switching, amplification and radio frequency applications.

The maximum collector current of the transistor is 150mA, maximum collector to emitter voltage is 50V, maximum collector dissipation is 300 milliwatt, minimum and maximum DC current gain is 120 to 560, the max transition frequency is 100MHz to 180MHz, some manufacturers make it with 100MHz transition frequency and some make it with 180MHz transition frequency.

 

Where We Can Use It & How to Use:

C1740 can be used for wide variety of general purpose applications like switching, amplification and RF applications. When used as a switch it is capable to drive load of upto 150mA and the maximum load voltage can be 50V. It can also be used as a preamplifier and amplifier for various types of electronic signals. Other than that it can also be used for radio frequency applications upto 100MHz or 180MHz.
