A gorgeous vintage French bedspread/bed cover in a stunning large scale exotic floral bird design. Lovely shades on a blue ground.  A most wonderful find from a country house re do in Champagne Ardenne, France (northeastern France). The home of a designer/decorator that sourced some lovely textiles from as she redid her home.  simply couldn't resist bringing this in, so beautiful. I believe custom made not factory manufactured if I recall. Very good quality, fine cotton. It has a scalloped drop on ether side and is lined n a white cotton. Most likely made within the last 20 or so years, possibly a bit older though the design itself is a much older pattern which I have actually had a variation of in the past in the form of a chintz.  The last photo is not my photo but a photo she provided me when I purchased it which is a good reference of it's overall design. **Condition is used and although appears in very good order for it's use, I'd have it dry cleaned simply to freshen. The white lining does have some pilling but the bird fabric is outstanding.  It could also be used for the lovely fabric in projects. **Measures ~  the main central body is 58 1/2" wide by 95" long. The side drops are 77" wide by aprox 12"-13" in the scalloped area. Many thanks! I sell antique and vintage fabric. Each textile is different; some possibly used, some unused.
