Seller: michaelstacyart (4,763) 100%, Location: Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 152332442208 Original/Reproduction: Original, Listed By: Dealer or Reseller, Material: Wood, Date of Creation: 1800-1899, Details: This is an extremely rare antique early 19th century hand carved wooden architectural corbel.It is cut from a very large, extremely heavy tree trunk.it has an abundance of very intricate detailing and a nicely stylized and carved design.the scrolls on the side and row of stylized flowers at the bottom are also very ornate and dimensional.the back of the corbel is still the natural finish of the trunk.it measures 14 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches up and down by 7 inches thick.it is a very rare piece and very heavy.there are some ware and cracks on the piece but are extremely old, refer to all pictures for condition.
