Very Very Rare from the Ray Holland collection ( founder of Holiday Hair and Lehigh Valley Historical and Industrial Museum ). This is one of only 2 or 3 known copies of the Weber and Brockway civil Engineers West Palm Beach Florida Atlas for PALM BEACH. From the research I have done and speaking to the owner of one of the other known copies which was listed here on ebay at around 20,000 based off of a auction price paid a few years back of 26,000 plus the premium this is probably the finest condition copy as the prior one listed on ebay did not have the original cover otherwise pretty much identical. This atlas was not made for the public and would of been for city official use only which means only 3 or 4 would of been made originally. ( I believe the one sold at auction years ago was purchased by Ray and is this exact one I am offering here. If that is the case then there are only 2 known examples existing today.) Of those 2 this is the only one with the Original Cover. This is an amazing chance to own a museum quality palm beach map atlas survey book in all original condition. I no longer see the other copy listed here on ebay at 20,000 with the replaced cover but it was auction number 201684430347 on ebay so you are welcome to check it out as I don't know if he sold it or still has it but he did a fantastic job describing and photographing all of the pages if you need more detail.  This listing is for a Vintage Original Weber and Brockway Palm Beach Atlas The book measures 9 x 14 and is complete containing 68 leaves (pages of surveys, maps; including title page and index ) Condition: Complete has some toning to the pages from age but is not loose and no rips one page has a slight crease but Book has the ORIGINAL Cover and is amazing. Some pages include penciled in remarks either done at the time or soon after. A few pages even have original pink hand tinting on a few of the land plots ( so this may of been the in house copy that weber brockway civil engineers had in their office as the original 1st. ) Special Mention : This Atlas shows all of the original wealthy estates and buildings many of which has been replaced over the years and shows some of the richest and most influential families from the 1930s including the kennedy's to marjorie merriweather post Davies - Now President trumps mar a lago estate, and the phipps family, the rutherfords as well as the breakers hotel and many golf courses, Just about everything you could hope for is shown in the extremely scarce atlas. Guaranteed all original vintage.  I know this is a museum or hotel centerpiece for a major collector and with the past sold results I am willing to accept fair offers with the key word being FAIR. There is no mistake in the asking price of $18,000 since a previous one was listed at 20,000 without the original cover and a copy sold at auction for 26,000 from what I was told which might be this one.
