This adorable Crummles enamel box from Beatrix Potter's "The Tailor of Gloucester" has the scene from the opening page of one of the mice sitting on a spool of pink thread reading with a pair of scissors and a thimble nearby.  Inside is the tailor going home in the snow.  It has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1.1".  On the pink base is : "Made in England by Crummles & Co. - © Copyright Frederick Warne P. L. C. - London."  PLEASE NOTE : There is some faint crazing on the pink base.  While noticeable in the magnified pictures, it is barely noticeable in person.  It is being sold at a reduced price because of it.  PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE BOXES - I'LL BE LISTING  ADDITIONAL ONES LATER IN THE WEEK.   PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN.
