Silvertone Artist Cornet: (Blessing Artist Model Stencil) Case, Keys, Lyre, MP . Blessing Artist Model Stencil 1971 "Silvertone Artist" Nice Case with keys, Lyre, MP Bore .462 Serial 188*** Beautiful instrument in Very Good to Excellent condition, good ol' Sears stencil horn from Blessing. All slides are smooth, 3rd slide took some work and the male upper came out when I was doing fit work... glad I found the problem, it could have easily gotten past me if the fit work wasn't required. Slight marks visible from the solder work. Valves are very smooth, horn seems lightly used with an excellent bell flair. Bell tail was bent when received. I love the water keys on this horn, pretty sleek and it's a very nice playing instrument with excellent compression, very nice original case, Bach 7 Mouthpiece Lyre and keys for the case. The Lyre mount has fallen off, I will do whatever the buyer desires and send As-Is with the part, clean the solder area off, or reinstall. If I do solder work, it will burn the lacquer in the area of the solder work and an inch or so around it.Instrument is Sold AS IS with NO RETURN. the house guys telling the front of the house guys it's ready... all horns
are soaked in an organic green solution, power brushed,
hand brushed, and rinsed.Valve chambers polished, top and bottom,
valve components soaked, detailed and rinsed, and all small parts
cleaned. Needed solder work completed, dents and most dings removed,
valves lapped, cap threads
inspected and trued, slides detailed, dry horn and components are scrubbed clean, hot water rinsed thoroughly, pads
and springs changed when needed, valves aligned, lubed, oiled, hand polished, cases disinfected and vacuumed and
horn is play tested. READY TO PLAY! ***Refurbished horns must be
cleaned after the first month of playing and should be cleaned after
your first practice session and all the oils and lube should be
removed and modified to what you like to use. You as an instrument owner
should clean your instrumentregularly regardless where you
purchased your instrument. I use Al Cass Fast on ALL my valves, and
